Google to pay $1 billion to Apple

Even though Apple wants to remove Google from iOS, the internet tycoon is ready to shed big bucks to battle in the game.

According to the analyst of Morgan Stanley, Google is ready to shed as much as $1 billion to become the search engine powered on iOS of Apple.

By this, iOS users will be able to search anything on their devices which will be powered by Google in 2014. Although this is the projected cost which would differ from the per-device acquisition cost, Google is ready to shed any amount to stay in the loop.

Presently, Google provides search results on Apple iOS for the Safari users where as the branding was removed by Apple for iOS 4.0. Also it was noted that in iOS 6, Google Maps was replaced by their own Apple Maps. But things did not work their way and Apple had yo allow Google for their mapping service again.
